Detail itinerary
7:45 – 8:30: Hotel Pickup
Our English-speaking guide will pick up guests from various hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter between 7:45 – 8:30. We strive to pick up on time, but due to morning traffic in the Old Quarter and multiple stops, this time is approximate. Please be ready to help expedite the process.
10:00 – 10:30: Short Rest Stop
A quick stop halfway through the journey to stretch your legs, use the restroom, or grab a quick snack in case you missed breakfast (our driver also appreciates a coffee break!) before we get back on the road and continue the trip.
11:30 – 11:45: Boarding the Cruise – Check-in Time
The bus arrives at Halong International Port (Bai Chay port), where our welcoming staff awaits you with a warm smile. Complimentary welcome drinks will be served while the captain gives a brief overview of the itinerary and instructions.
12:00 – 13:00: Lunch Onboard
The cruise departs from Halong International Port for an exciting journey to explore the beauty of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, you will pass by iconic limestone formations such as Dog Rock, Duck Rock, and especially Thumb Rock – a magnificent limestone island resembling a giant thumb rising from the sea. Nature has placed Thumb Rock here to send a message of good fortune to every passenger on this scenic voyage.
Enjoy a lavish buffet lunch with a variety of seafood, Vietnamese, and international dishes.
13:30: Explore Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave)
Stop at Bo Hon Island. Our guide will take you to Sung Sot Cave, the largest and most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay. After climbing around 200 steps through a forest canopy, the cave entrance appears. A paradise awaits inside. You’ll spend around 45 minutes exploring the cave before returning to the cruise.
(For those unable to walk much, you can stay on the cruise and relax on the sundeck.)
14:30: Titop Island – Titop Beach – Titop Mountain – Swimming – Hiking
Next stop is Ti Top Island. Here, you can hike up the mountain for a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay. The bird’s-eye view offers a breathtaking experience and a spectacular sight of the bay.
Relax on the white sandy beach, go swimming, or stay on the cruise and soak in the natural beauty of Ha Long Bay. Enjoy time feeling the sand between your toes and take a few moments to reflect on the sheer beauty of this natural wonder.
15:30: Visit Luon Cave
Afterward, you’ll have the chance to kayak or ride a bamboo boat through Luon Cave to explore the serene lagoon inside.
16:30: Return to Halong International Port
Sail back to Halong International Port. There will be plenty of time to enjoy a sunset party with tea, cakes, sunbathing on the upper deck with music, and the company of fellow travelers, all set against the iconic backdrop of Ha Long Bay.
17:30: Board the Bus
Get back on the bus and head back to Hanoi via the expressway, with a short rest stop of around 20-30 minutes.
20:30 – 21:00: Arrive in Hanoi
Our driver will drop you off at your hotel in the Old Quarter. The trip concludes.
